Seller Terms & Conditions | The Vault Luxury Resale

The services rendered to you by The Vault Luxury Resale, LLC (“The Vault” or “we” or “us”) are subject to the following Seller Terms and Conditions (“Seller Terms and Conditions”). These terms are essential and are cross-referenced in our Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”), available at thevaultluxuryresale.com. Definitions for capitalized terms not expressly defined in these Seller Terms and Conditions can be in our Terms of Use.

By using our services to sell products, you assert that you have the legal authority to enter and accept these Seller Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, you undertake to fulfill all related obligations. If you disagree with these Seller Terms and Conditions, you are not permitted to use any of The Vault Luxury Resale services for selling products.

Within these Seller Terms and Conditions, references to “you” and “your” specifically relate to your status as a user of the Service. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, organization, or another entity, then: (a) “you” includes both yourself and the entity; (b) you confirm that you are the authorized representative of the entity and have the authority to bind the entity to these Seller Terms and Conditions; and (c) your entity is accountable for ensuring your usage of the Services and for handling the required payments to us.

All users utilizing the Services for selling goods must recognize and agree to the Terms and Conditions provided below. If there are any questions or concerns regarding the Seller Terms and Conditions, please contact us via email at info@thevaultluxuryresale.com.

SUBMISSION ITEMS:

  1. Submission Quotes. Through our website, you have the option to directly email details and images of your products, referred to as “Submission Items,” to The Vault Luxury Resale.
  2. Following approval from our authenticators, The Vault Luxury Resale will evaluate the submission. If, in our sole discretion, we determine that your Submission Item satisfies the criteria for sale, a price quote (referred to as a “Submission Offer”) will be sent to you via email. Upon your acceptance of the Submission Offer, The Vault Luxury Resale will proceed to send you a pre-paid USPS label for your Submission Item for authentication.
  3. Submission quotes are valid for seven (7) days only.
  4. Upon receiving your Submission Item, The Vault Luxury Resale will review it to ensure it is authentic and its condition aligns with the description you provided during the submission upload.
    1. If your Submission Item is verified as authentic and aligns with the specifications provided in your initial submission, The Vault Luxury Resale will proceed to compensate you for the Submission Offer.
    2. The Vault Luxury Resale may present a revised Submission Offer if it is determined that, while your item is authentic, its condition differs from what was described in your initial submission. Additionally, if required accessories (such as straps, locks, keys, pouches, etc.) are not provided, a modified offer will be issued. Upon accepting the revised offer, The Vault Luxury Resale will process your payment through ACH, online gift card, check, or PayPal. If you reject the revised offer, your item will be returned to you via USPS Ground Advantage.
    3. Counterfeit products. If The Vault Luxury Resale confirms that your Submission Item is not authentic, your submission offer will be cancelled.
    4. Shipping.  Submission items are shipped to The Vault Luxury Resale free of charge via USPS Ground. For items valued under $75.00 within the St. Louis Metro East area, shipping labels will not be provided.

AUTHENTICITY; CANCELLATION

  1. All transactions are final.
  2. You affirm and guarantee that each item you submit for sale (referred to as “Submission Items”) is authentic. The Vault Luxury Resale will review and authorize Submission Items to confirm their authenticity.
  3. Counterfeit Items. If a Submission Item is found to be counterfeit, The Vault Luxury Resale will return the item to the seller upon payment of an “Authentication Fee.” The fee is $125 for Hermes’ Kelly or Birkin and $75 for all other Submission Items. Please be aware that future requests from sellers may be declined at the discretion of The Vault Luxury Resale.
  4. In the event of submitting counterfeit Submission Items, The Vault Luxury Resale will bear the related costs. We retain the right, as allowed by law, to pursue legal action to recoup these expenses. This may involve employing a third-party collections agency, among other measures.

OFFERS; PAYMENT; FEES:

  1. The valuation of all Submission Items will be decided by The Vault Luxury Resale, considering comparable prices for products of similar styles and conditions. We reserve the right to correct any offer errors and adjust the offer amounts for Submission Items at our discretion at any given time.
  2. Once the Submission Offer is accepted, including any revised offers after authentication review, The Vault Luxury Resale will process payment using the method selected on the submission form. Available payment options include ACH, online store credit, checks, and PayPal. Online Store Credit will be issued within two business days, while checks sent via U.S. Mail may take up to fourteen business days for delivery. PayPal deposits may take up to five business days, excluding holidays and weekends, and ACH transfers may take up to three business days, excluding holidays and weekends.
  3. Online Store Credit. Online Store Credit can only be redeemed at The Vault Luxury Resale. Sellers will receive notifications of their store credit via email, and they are exclusively valid for redemption at thevaultluxuryresale.com. Sellers may check their Online Store Credit balance at any time.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

MODIFICATIONS.

  1. The Submission Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. Any modifications will take effect immediately once you use the Services for the first time after the “Last Revised” date at the top of these Seller Terms and Conditions.
  2. In the event of significant modifications, we will make a genuine effort to inform you either through email or by prominently displaying a notice on the website. It is your sole responsibility to regularly review the Seller Terms and Conditions to stay informed of any such changes. Your ongoing use of the Services or access to them following the implementation of modifications will be considered your conclusive acceptance of the updated Seller Terms and Conditions. Should you find the revised terms unacceptable, we kindly request that you refrain from using the Services for accessing or selling products.

VIOLATIONS.

  1. If we believe you of violating the Seller Terms and Conditions, you may face restrictions on buying and selling rights, limitations on account features and listings, account suspension, fee assessments, and potential reimbursement for costs related to monitoring and enforcing our policies.

DISPUTES.

  1. Under these Seller Terms and Conditions, both you and The Vault Luxury Resale agree that any disputes will be resolved in accordance with our Terms of Use.
